“During the school year 2007/8 YUC put on a series of Gig Nights, in partnership with Kilwinning Explorer Scouts. The gig nights were a huge success and hundreds of young people attended. A big thanks goes out to everyone involved in making these events happen and to the local bands who played during the year:- The YUC Band, Zicron, Interzone, The Knockout, Rodeodrive, The Way, Magnus Blaze, Seven Years of Tragedy, To the Depths, Angel Seattle, Semtex, We Don’t Need To Whisper, Undefeated, Arthouse and Magnus Blaze.

Following the success of the Gig Nights we have decided to launch “Tuesday Night Live”. This new YUC event is running every Tuesday night during school term time and we hope to have lots more live acts perform at gigs and acoustic café nights throughout the year.”
